The Strength At Home programs proudly reach out to a diverse population of service members, veterans and family members. Our classes are ethnically, racially, and economically diverse, with many different cultures represented and served. We serve active duty service members, those in the National Guard and Reserves, as well as veterans discharged from service.

To see if you and/or your partner are eligible for enrollment in one of our programs, the first step is to call our outreach coordinator, Amy Rachiele, at (857) 364-4173 for a confidential screening. This call usually takes just about 10 minutes, and involves 17 screening questions. You have the right to refuse to answer any question you do not feel comfortable with, and also the right to end the call at any time.
Since our programs focus on improving relationships, you and your partner will both be screened privately and separately. Any information you share on the screening call will never be shared with your partner, during sessions, with courts, superior officers, or anyone else. Also, by agreeing to the call, you are not agreeing to participate in the programs.
After the screening questions are completed, we would like you to have the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions about the programs to help inform your decision if our program is a good fit for your needs.
If after the confidential screening, you and/or your partner are interested and eligible for the programs, Amy will work with you to schedule for first intake and assessment appointment at one of our centers.

Our programs run at the Boston VA Healthcare System Jamaica Plain campus and the Providence VA Healthcare system campus during evening hours. Intake appointments and assessments occur on Thursday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, and can also be arranged individually.
We understand that the cost of travel and/or childcare can add
up, so we are able to offer compensation of up to $300 per person. These
payments are provided in equal installments of $50 at different
points throughout the program.
