The primary goals of this program are to help OEF/OIF military couples strengthen their relationship, increase feelings of closeness and happiness, and to prevent arguments and conflict.

Being part of a military couple is an honor and a challenge. Military couples are asked to persevere through many obstacles with resilience and independence such as frequent moves, dangerous deployments, and months of long distance. Given this stress, it is common to experience problems in relationships after a deployment, like feeling emotionally disconnected or struggling with conflict. Returning to civilian life as a couple or family is a huge adjustment and finding a new balance will take time.
The goal of the Strength At Home couple’s program is to help you, as an OEF/OIF military couple, strengthen your relationship and support you in the adjustment period to stateside life.
